Azhar movie is a bio-pic about a fallen hero of Indian cricket team – Azharuddin. The movie is about his journey including his professional success as International cricketer to his personal life, and also his biggest failure of his career under the match-fixing charges.

Azhar movie is directed by Tony D’Souza and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, N P Singh & Sneha Rajani under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures & MSM Motion Pictures. The movie is starring Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai in main leads. Emraan Hashmi will be playing the role of Azharuddin, Prachi Desai as his first wife, and Nargis Fakhri as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani. While all the characters of movie are inspired from real-life, there is only single fictitious character in movie, till now. Nimrat Kaur is playing a short, but strong role of a lawyer in the movie.

Azhar movie teaser is both good and attractive. The teaser is totally focused on Azharuddin. The teaser is featuring only Emraan Hashmi in blue dress in a stadium. His face is covered in his helmet. But his dialogue is enough to remind real Azharuddin. In stadium, the mob is shouting regularly, to appreciate him. But afterwards, atmatch-fixing part of dialogue, this appreciation converts to criticism and aggression.

Overall, teaser is not lesser than expected. Marketing and making & maintaining buzz is always plays a strong role in success of her movies. Azhar movie is no exception in this regards.
