Akshay Kumar, who is continuously giving good movies on social issues, is back with another interesting movie Gold. The teaser of this hockey sport flick is good enough to woo the viewers. In fact it looks that it will another hit of the season by Akshay Kumar. The movie has huge potential as per the trailer and even there is no other big release in August.

Gold is plotted around 1946 India when India was playing for British. India won 3 gold medals of 1928, 1932, 1936 but they all were for British country. But in 1946, a bengali takes stands with a view to win Gold for out country. Now It’s a fight to bring up a team to win Olympic Gold for the country, at promise. India won 1948 Olympic Hockey Gold Medal for the very first time for Indian Hockey team also won gold medal for 1952, 1956, 1964 and 1980. They got silver medal in 1960 and bronze medal in 1968 and 1972.

Akshay Kumar is looking good as bengali who loves his country and want to do something huge for the nation. The teaser looks interesting and creates curiosity among viewers. This Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, and Amit Sadh starrer will release in cinemas on Independence day 2018, to be 15th August 2018. It’s a Wednesday on the day so it will get the benefit of extended week. Or the movie may also release on starting first Friday of the week.
